After a small hiatus, I figured I should have a site once again.
I’ve copied in some old blog articles that probably aren’t relevant any more, so this doesn’t look so empty.

Hi all,
Lately I’ve been playing with Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI). One thing I’ve noticed is that you cannot loop through all LDAP entries with a single query - the server stops you at a maximum query limit. A quick search reveals that TDI has paging parameters for an LDAP search. Hurray! Small problem though - there isn’t anywhere you can input what page you want. Kind of a let down.

I’ve been having quite a bit of trouble booting up an Ubuntu 11.04 installer CD on a Macbook Pro.
Problems: Booting from CD/DVD fails, with “Select CD Boot Type” prompt that does nothing.
The machine seemingly hangs; the graphics output is broken
Solution Boot from CD/DVD To boot from the DVD, hold down Option whilst starting up (not ‘C’ - this will attempt to boot the old DOS style way).
